• Marathon Finish

    I finished my 2nd marathon this past weekend in Bellingham. Last year in my 1st marathon I finished in 4:01:40. This year I wanted to break 4 hours for sure, and hopefully get closer to 3:45. I finished in 3:38:56 and was pretty ecstatic about it.

    A nice coat of lacquer and the maple really shines. Really brought out some cool patters. This was a really cool project to do with my pops. Thinking of maybe taking the next 3 years or so to make a headboard for a bed using the burl from that same maple.

    Reid and Darcy have been inspiring me to make food from scratch. Easiest recipe ever. Just came out of the oven. Added rosemary, lavender and cracked pepper to spice it up.
