    Hosted our first Christmas at our new home. First xmas ever in fact as they are usually julie’s parents home. Two big dinners, friday pre-eve and xmas, where I cooked 3 cornish game hens in a red wine reduction sauce. Total success. YUM. We were so hungry we forgot to take a photo of them.

    Serenity is no longer a baby. It is official. Seeing her holding Peter’s baby Olivia really brought that home. Having her turn to me and ask “Daddy, my nails are too long, can you cut them?” while I can hear “huggey” (that is what sassy calls him), reid’s baby, screaming incoherently over FaceTime left no doubt.
