Release: Facebook Events 1.0.5
We just pushed an update to our Facebook Events add-on, and you’ll want to update to the 1.0.5 release whenever possible. It is mostly bug fixes, addressing a number of changes or inconsistencies with the Facebook API that have been reported at the forums. These include a couple fairly significant adjustments to the handling of time zones. Please note there are no accompanying builds of The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, so you should have … Continue reading

Release: Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.5, Community Events 1.0.5 & Facebook Events 1.0.4
Normally we publish a separate release post for each plugin, to cover the specific breakdown of what features/bug fixes were included that round. But this month’s release is a bit different in the sense that the three plugins mentioned in the title of this post (Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.5, Community Events 1.0.5 and Facebook Events 1.0.4) are all practically unchanged from their previous builds. The updates released today are purely necessary to ensure things run smoothly … Continue reading

Release: The Events Calendar 2.0.11
Though we hadn’t planned another 2.0.x update before releasing The Events Calendar 3.0, a couple critical matters came to our attention this week that required it, and as of this afternoon we’ve released The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11. This is a relatively small update, but covers a couple of important issues: First, and most significantly, was a jQuery problem that emerged in the forums a couple days ago. When jQuery 1.9 came out this … Continue reading

Release: Hotfix for WP 3.5 bugs in Events Calendar PRO 2.0.10 & Community 1.0.4
As some of you may be aware, there were a couple of bugs that emerged in Community Events & Events Calendar PRO with the release of WordPress 3.5 earlier this week. These issues impacted both the display of the backend events list and your frontend events/community submission form. Once these were reported to us, we got the team together to strategize a fix and figured out the most effective course of action last night. As … Continue reading

Release: Community Events 1.0.4
After a pretty substantive 1.0.3 release, we dialed things back for this month’s Community Events maintenance build. On the feature side we’ve just got some updated German translation files; on the bug fix side, we got rid of some unnecessary HTML on the community form. Release Notes for WordPress Community Events 1.0.4: Small features, UX and Content Tweaks: Incorporated updated German translation files, courtesy of Marc Galliath. Bug Fixes: Removed an illegal HTML style tag … Continue reading

Release: Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.4
This month’s maintenance release for Eventbrite Tickets is rather minor, and mainly clears up a problematic error message that was showing in certain situations. Things are generally slowing down now through the holidays and as a result our next substantive Eventbrite build will probably be early in 2013. Release Notes for WordPress Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.4: Small features, UX and Content Tweaks: (None this release) Bug Fixes: Fixed an ambiguous error message that appeared when the … Continue reading

Release: The Events Calendar 2.0.10
It’s that time again…our October-November maintenance build is officially out, and The Events Calendar / Events Calendar PRO 2.0.10 were both released this afternoon. We also updated each of the add-ons (mostly minor tweaks) and are releasing WooTickets 1.0 tomorrow. As this will probably be the last round of maintenance builds for 2012, we tried to fix in as many of the higher profile bugs that have been reported from our users. Here’s the specific breakdown of what … Continue reading

Events 3.0 usability test: participants wanted
We’ve been hard at work on The Events Calendar 3.0 these past few weeks, but up until now the only eyes that have seen what’s in store have been our own. As of today, however, we’re far enough that it’s time to introduce this puppy to the community. That’s why we’re announcing our next usability test — focused exclusively on Events 3.0 — has been scheduled for Thursday, 11/15. This is the first announcement of that … Continue reading
