These pieces are absolutely beautiful. I’m especially fond of the first image above. I’m no art collector, but I think the colors and the composition are really interesting. I’m a big fan of the blue shading around the subject’s body.
Good call on the blue shading. Yeah, she had some amazing approaches to color usage. It’s wild how she often achieved a likeness in her portraits while maintaining a super loose style with piles of extreme colors. It’s always blown my mind.
