Day4
Yesterday was my mom’s 57th Birthday. Well… it would have been. Here’s some more of my favorite pieces. the photo count is up to about 300.
So we finished cleaning out most of the studio and organized until 2am. The lighting system broke again in the early evening but it was just as well since we really needed all the time to clean.
I have to say that although i’m really disappointed in the lighting system (PROMASTER® SystemPRO Studio Lighting Kit Sucks! Don’t Buy It!), the folks at shutterbug were very friendly about me returning it and gave me my money back.
I’m also resolved on the idea that next time i need to have a 20+ Mpixel cam in hand with lighting when leaving Santa Cruz instead of counting on finding equipment in Sonoma County. The lighting / camera ordeal took up at least a full workday. Maybe more.
All in all though, I got to reconnect with my old friend Ethan and Sadye and I had a fabulous albeit intense day celebrating and lamenting my mother’s birthday.
Thankfully she left us a great number of beautiful and mysterious artifacts.

I love you bro! Even if it was a hard but successful week, I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together. What will be with me for a long time. I am so deeply in gratitude of the family that I have. Even if kids/teen’s/adults/ or just anyone who looks at me with a glance and asks “Your dad is 78 and you have a way older brother and sister’s” I acknowledge that it is a one of kind Chester family thing that makes us who we are. Thanks so much bro, this week has been sewn in to my heart which will make it stronger.
I love you too sis! It was a great and refreshing week. I can’t imagine a better way to spend mom’s birthday. Looking forward to the sequel over the winter holidays.
