I like your friend&#039;s point on how you cannot be outnumbered. You are the leaders. What you put into place will be followed and implemented by others. It&#039;s imperative for the &quot;core&quot; team to constantly evaluate on a regular basis how things are going....and adjust where needed.

It&#039;s about creating balance. If you grow too fast and don&#039;t stop to see how things are going,  it will cause chaos and confusion amongst the team. If you stall too long while evaluating, opportunities will pass you by. Finding that middle ground is key.</description>

It begs the question of whether there is such a thing as a metric that could measure &quot;healthy growth&quot; by tracking the ratio of senior/core/integrated/green team members over time.  Of course, so much is left to chance and educated guesswork if such a metric were to exist, but the notion of quantifying the health of a growing company is thought provoking nonetheless.</description>
