Chillen in the lounge for a while letting mama take a real nap. For a premie, she is about as solid as they come.
6lbs 6oz, 18.5 inches, took right to the boob, long long legs and a wonderful smile.
some advice:
Learn to swaddle from the nurses, they’re ninja fast and the bundles are perfect and tight.
Steal as many diapers, pads (for her) and a couple of those blankets from the hospital. Bring them out in shifts through the day so they think you’re just using a lot. Trust me, the over the shelf stuff is different.
Schedule feedings if you can–now, makes things easier in the weeks to come
Take this moment in, don’t think about work. It’s all about her now.
Congrats! Being a parent is the most amazing thing I have ever experienced and I know you both will love it too!
So stoked for you guys…
