I'd say he speaks from experience. Though after watching Connor go charging head first into that wall last week, I have to wonder if it affects us even just a little. What was amazing was that with that gigantic whole in his head, 5 minutes later he was up and charging around the parking lot. Maybe he ended up with super-toddler mutant powers.
