I am able to get the calendar to show on the appropriate URL of http://www.parkwoodbaptistchurch.org/events but ONLY if I choose the Archive page template in the Display tab of the Events customization area (discovered this after hours of clicking around) and that is not what I want…I want it do use the Default Events Template page. (I don’t want sidebars…I want a full page with just the calendar).
Also – more importantly, the Activity Indicator on the page is there the whole time…behaving as if there is something more loading. No matter how long the page is up, it is still there, spinning away. Very distracting and annoying.
This has only been an issue since I paid for and installed the Pro version of this events calendar. It worked fine previously (well, with the obvious exception of being able to create recurring events…which is why I purchased the Pro version) I’m pasting the information below that the Help tab indicated you might need.

UTCSeptember 18, 2014 at 10:49 am #751018BrianKeymasterHello thanks for purchasing the Events Calendar Pro.
Sorry for the troubles you are having, but I can help troubleshoot this with you.
I took a look at your site and see the Events Calender working with the Archive Template. The Loading sign is showing because the default styling from the plugin is not loaded on that page.
What happens when you choose the default “Default Events Template”? Does the page not load at all? Can you turn that on and let me know so I can look at it?
Also, can you follow our Testing For Conflicts guide and see if that resolves the issue?
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks

I’ve reactivated that theme and chose that “Default Events Template” and you can see how it isn’t working here > http://www.parkwoodbaptistchurch.org/events/
Ugh. So, yeah, I did the Testing For Conflicts and, after clearing my cache, etc. the calendar loads perfectly within the 2013 theme. š Does that mean that I can’t use this purchased plugin with my (also) purchased theme?? Are they not compatible?
I’m hoping you still can offer me some help to make this work. I look forward to hearing from you.September 18, 2014 at 1:08 pm #751404BrianKeymasterThanks for changing the site back to the āDefault Events Templateā I took a look at your site and it appears your theme is loading css for the Events Calendar and disabling the css in the plugin.
I also looked at the theme site and they mention their css is for the Events Calendar 2.0. I could not find if they have an update of their css for 3.0 or not.
Is there a way to turn off the Theme’s Event Styling somehow and use our plugins? Can you contact the Theme developer and see if they have a solution to do that?
Let me know what you find out from the theme developer and we can go from there.
Thanks
September 18, 2014 at 2:17 pm #751521parkwoodParticipantAll fixed. I had to delete and redownload the theme because there didn’t seem to be a way to update the theme (strange), but they had an update as of the end of last month. Anyway. It’s all good. Thank you for your help!
September 19, 2014 at 7:23 am #752962BrianKeymasterGreat, glad it helps, I am going to go ahead and close this ticket, but if you need any other on something else please post a new ticket.
Thanks!
