HELP! MONTH VIEW events-calendar-query.class ERROR!

Guys I need immediate help! My client called my yesterday in ultimate rage saying the calendar broke down! So when I tried to call the calendar with the apropriate URL I get “Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in /home/user******/domains/bhvzuidholland.nl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lib/tribe-event-query.class.php on line 821”.

Somehow it takes some time to get information out of the DB. I used DB cleaners, cache cleaners en checked the DB myself! Everything seems to be okay. I have readded the events by first completely deleting them. I have tried to add just one event, 3 events and 5 or more…… no luck… It won’t load the calendar!

Like I said I need urgent help, it needs to be fixed ASAP! For more information please reply here!

Hi Serhan,

I’m sorry you and your client are hitting these problems.

If you don’t have a large number of events and things are timing out there are a few steps worth trying:

• First and foremost, please do take the time to run through our standard troubleshooting steps in case this problem stems from a conflict with your theme or with another plugin
• Consider increasing the amount of memory available (see here and here)

Do either of those help?

Nope…. I did all that (all the standard things) usually it will be fixed by doing that. The thing is we went life some 3 months ago and everything worked great. Nothing has changed, the client is not able to change stuff. neither is the admin (I have blocked most modification admin pages) nor did any code change on the FTP since the client has no access to that either.

I fear it is something to do with requesting to the database. I just don’t know what! That’s why I need help with this. Since you guys have development knowledge about the plugin it is easier and faster for you to debug this issue.

So again, please HELP!

Hey Barry, thanks for the fast reactions, I honestly can’t find it 😛

You do need to have entered a valid license key (in Events > Settings > Licenses) for this information to be visible – is it possible you didn’t complete that step after activating Events Calendar PRO?

“Categorieklueren” is category colours, right? Are you missing the help tab then or has it just been dropped because you reduced your browser window size to take that screenshot?

Ordinarily, you would see a “Help” tab after the “Licenses” tab.

About the help tab I have no cleu why it is not there.. I do recall ot ever being there but I do not know why it isn’t anymore. Could you send met the get valeu of the page so I could modify the URL to reach it?

Sure – just go to an existing Events → Settings tab and change the value of the tab parameter to tab=help.

I’m a bit worried this problem results from a conflict. I realize you already ran through some troubleshooting steps – but did you happen to notice if the help tab reappeared once you had deactivated all other plugins and switched to a default theme?
