I’m working on an Event Calendar for a concert venue. They don’t want to display end Dates & Times for their events.

I tried the steps listed in https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-delete-end-date-end-time/#post-12353 , but that didn’t seem to work.

Hey Dave. I can get Jonah to take a look at why that other solution wouldn’t be working. Can you post the code you’ve used so we can take a look at it directly?

    Hi Dave,

The same instructions should apply as in that thread. Make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/list.php and place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme. And then find lines 53-56 and remove them. That should do it. If it’s not working for you can you please http://pastie.org your list.php code so I can see what you’ve got.

Hey Dave, the code for the end date is still in your list.php so you must not have followed the instructions. Did you make a copy of list.php and place it in an ‘events’ folder in your active theme? Then you’ll want to remove lines 53-56 in the new copy of list.php that looks like this: http://pastie.org/private/43xpla03gyxjxxvjp3eow

    Johah, Thanks for the help.

If you look through my list.php line 53-56 it does not look like the code you listed.

That code doesn’t show up until line 107 & 108 in my code. That’s where the confusion came in.

I’ll try what you posted and reply to this thread.

    Jonah,

I removed the code as you recommended, but the end date is still showing up:

I cleared my browser cache. There is no caching plugin on the site.

Is this a copy of list.php in an ‘events’ folder you’re working with? Can you paste what you’ve got again?

Here is a copy of the current code: http://pastie.org/3609915

The line you recommended were deleted.

The list.php file is located here: /wp-content/themes/medina_entertainment/events/list.php

Hi Dave, the code you provided works for me when I put it in my themes list.php override. Not sure why it’s not working for you. Have you tried another browser?

I’ve tried different browsers on different computers.

http://medinaentertainment.com/event/bellamy-brothers/ still shows the end date.

I do have Events Calendar Pro install. The server is a VPS.

    I can’t figure it out…. It’s maddening!
