I just made a check of broken links an see dozen of events with broken links.
Al this link are generated by the + GOOGLE CALENDAR button.
I show you some examples, hope you can help :November 21, 2014 at 9:26 am #893952BarryMemberHi there superbigcat,
Those URLs (the ones generated by the + Google Calendar buttons) are certainly abnormally long and contain more than I would normally expect.
YES, I’ve deactivated all other plugins to check for a plugin conflict.
YES, I’ve reverted to the 2011 default WordPress theme (with other plugins still deactivated) to check for a theme conflict.I’m particularly curious because you noted having run through our standard troubleshooting steps (when you opened the thread): did this same problem persist even then, or were you able to identify any particular conflicts, with your theme or another plugin?

Now I really dit it with my local dev version.I found which plugin make the problem happen :
Easy Social Share Buttons for WordPressSo what I m suppose to do now? (this plugin really needed actually)
November 21, 2014 at 11:46 am #894104BarryMemberMy guess is that this other plugin filters the_content – and adds various bits and pieces that we don’t need or want here – but, perhaps, we can remove their filter (but only for the purposes of generating the Google Calendar link and otherwise let it do its thing).
Can you reach out to the author of that plugin and ask:
- If they do indeed filter on the_content
- If they can provide a snippet to disable this behaviour
We can then look at helping you to craft a solution that applies their fix only to the link in question.
