When users go to the initial month view on our live site, the previous month does not appear. It does appear on our staging site, and the two environments have the same code for the the theme and The Events Calendar. Do you have any ideas how I could fix this?

Thank youSeptember 16, 2014 at 6:41 pm #747490BrianKeymasterHello baynature,
I can help you out with this.
I took a look at the live site and saw in the list view there are only events for September 2014 and into the future.
Can you please add an event with a August 2014 Date and then see if the Month View has a link to last month.
Our default is to only show Month Calendars in the past if there are events in it.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks

Thanks for that help. I’m having another problem. In older versions of Safari such as 5.1.2 or 5.1.1, the previous and next month links are not working. They show up, they appear as links when I Inspect Element, but nothing happens when I click on them. I tried switching the theme to Twenty Fourteen and had the same problem. Any ideas?
Thanks,
LauraSeptember 19, 2014 at 7:17 am #752945BrianKeymasterHi Laura,
It looks like it would be an AJAX issue, which Safari has an issue with in 5.x
It appears Apple is no longer supporting Windows Safari either so there is not much we can do to fix the issue.
If you must support that version of Safari the best thing to do is remove the AJAX scripts.
If you add the coding in this gist:
https://gist.github.com/ckpicker/8689212
That will disable AJAX.
Let me know if that helps.
