The Events Calendar: Display Categories in List View

Hi there,<br>
I tried the display categories hack (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/display-categories-in-list-view/) and it works, but i cannot switch back to month view…<br>
If I click on month view in the top right corner the view does not change to month view but stays in list view. <br>
I am using WP 3.9.2 with The Events Calendar 3.7 – the display category hack is in the function.php of my child theme of Make.<br>

Any hints?<br>
