Using Venue Featured Image for event featured image

Is it possible for the featured image that is assigned to a venue, to be shown as the event featured image? The current process is to add the featured image to the venue. Then for every event at that venue, the same image has to be added as a featured image. Is there a way for the image shown on mouseover in month view, to show the featured image from the venue?

What you are asking is possible, but it would take some customization on your part to get it to work.

The venue featured image uses WordPress’s Featured Image.

This is the function that can be called to get it.

get_the_post_thumbnail();
