Hey team, reached out and was redirected to this forum from your facebook page in regard to a theme conflict i’d like to resolve prior to purchasing.
Your team provided a link that exactly answers my question and issue, however wanted to check it’s status being that this post is dated over a year ago. Here is the link for people with similar issue: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-a-garbled-single-events-page/
So from the instructions, its recommending adding a portion of code into the functions.php file. Do I just add the code anywhere within that file? You’ll have to excuse me for I’m fairly new to editing php files and such.
Here’s the site I’m working on: http://bottlescout.co/
And here’s the events page: http://bottlescout.co/events/
The individual event listings are working, here’s a sample: http://bottlescout.co/event/breckenridge-distillery-tasting-at-argonaut-wine-liquor/Thanks for the help!

Thanks for reaching out to us!
The fix for the garbled display of the main events page is caused by the section being output as an excerpt. Since this is done by the theme, there will need to be a specific solution provided to fit each theme. However, looking at your events page ( http://bottlescout.co/eventsĀ ), it appears the calendar is displaying properly and not being output as part of an excerpt. I assume you found the solution you needed?
Let me know if I missed something on your site and there is a garbled view that I’m missing.
Thanks!
