    I love the one comment: “I can’t tell if this is satire.” to which if I didn’t know your dad I would assume it was, but knowing your dad I know he is totally serious.

    That’s awesome.

    Shane: took me a while to see that it was satire, since I’ve had these same conversations with people about privatizing everything — including roads and ATC. But then I looked at the tagline in the header logo.

    Naw, Shane and my dad just have a history of serious debates. My dad’s got a pretty committed debate face, but ultimately he’s liberal by virtue of his sincerely critical nature and his big heart.

    Now that I see it’s satire, I love the article. I, like Dan, have had the “privatize everything” debate with people who are completely serious about it.
