WordPress multisite helps a STEM school relay a wealth of information
The Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences at UC Irvine needed a website as dynamic and advanced as they are. Working within the brand and style requirements set by the university, Modern Tribe partnered with ICS to deliver a bold yet flexible vision for one of the most diverse STEM institutions in the country.
Establishing an ICS parent site with centralized news, a people directory, and research information, along with thoughtful patterns shared across the parent and department sites, allowed significant reuse of core data across site units without duplicating effort. This also provided flexible spaces for content specific to the department or office, striking a balance between central communications and the marketing and communications needs of various units.
