The RSS feed for my site only include regular posts and none of the event posted. Is there a way to get them included? The latest event posts sits just below the calendar on the home page but isn’t included in the feed: http://events.stcwdc.org/feed/ (The event disappeared from the calendar after the 3.0.2 update but that is in another thread.)

I am still looking into the feasibility of this with our plugin. As you know, the old instructions for this no longer work and I created a ticket to have one of our developers take a look. I haven’t heard back yet but will post back here as soon as I do.
Thanks for your patience,

I followed up with you here as well (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/v3-tutorial-how-to-customize-your-rss-feed-is-it-for-version-3-and-wp-3-5-2/) but the snippets to include events in your RSS feed as instructed here (https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-add-events-to-your-rss-feed/) should work – you just need to make sure to clear your cache. Try that and let us know whether or not it works for you.

Without the top snippet, I get the regular posts back but no event posts.
I’d like to be able to include both in the feed.July 18, 2013 at 10:16 am #55900JonahParticipantHi Cynthia,
You’re right, the posts are gone. I’m going back to one of our developers to ask them about this. Stay tuned.

July 24, 2013 at 8:31 am #56808JonahParticipantHi all,
In the latest update this should now be fixed. Please update to the latest version, clear your cache and let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
JonahJuly 25, 2013 at 8:44 am #57094Cynthia LockleyParticipantI’ve updated to the new versions and took out the code in the functions.php to include the event posts. I cleared cache and now I get my regular posts but the latest event post is not included. Does the update only include upcoming event posts and not past event posts? Our latest event post was for an event last week.
July 25, 2013 at 9:56 am #57135JonahParticipantHi Cynthia,
You will still need the code in your functions.php file to show events in the main RSS feed.

July 25, 2013 at 10:23 am #57145JonahParticipantYou’re welcome Cynthia, glad that worked!
